Privacy Policy
Identity Shift ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who processes it, and what choices you have. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide
During onboarding and while you use the app you may provide:
- Name and age, gender, and a photo of yourself
- Goal details (title, description, category, motivation, timeframe)
- Future vision and look preferences
- Work-life and love-life context, dream car and dream home, and what is holding you back
- When you want your future life to feel normal and where you want to feel change first
- Referral source and what you expect from the app
- Messages you send to your future self in chat
Journal text and tomorrow intentions stay on your device and are not sent to our servers. We only log that a journal entry was created and a mood rating (1–5) as anonymous analytics events.
b) Information Collected Automatically
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) for anonymous usage data, including onboarding steps, notifications, subscription events, and feature usage (habits, journal mood, daily message, chat, stories).
Firebase may store aggregated properties such as age range, gender, goal category, and referral source — not for advertising. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or track you across other companies' apps.
c) Subscription Data
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions through Apple's App Store. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple ID password.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information only to run the app: future identity, daily messages, journey actions, journal entries, AI image, chat, Stories, Live Activities, notifications, subscriptions, and product improvement.
3. AI Processing
Data may be sent to our server (api.broddedevelopment.dk) and processed by OpenAI (text, image, chat) and ElevenLabs (narration). Chat sends a limited recent history. Chat threads reset each calendar day on your device. Do not upload photos of anyone but yourself.
4. Where Data Is Stored
On your device: profile, goals, journal, chat, progress, and generated images (SwiftData). Deleting the app deletes this data.
Our server: data needed to generate responses over HTTPS with signed requests. Photos are processed for generation, not kept as a permanent library.
Third parties: Google (Firebase), OpenAI, ElevenLabs, RevenueCat, and Apple — each under their own privacy policies.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We share only with service providers needed for features you use.
6. Tracking
We do not track you for advertising or use cross-app tracking as Apple defines it.
7. Data Retention
- On device: until you delete the app
- Chat: current calendar day locally
- Analytics: per Firebase settings (typically up to 14 months)
- Subscriptions: as required by Apple and RevenueCat
8. Your Rights
Manage notifications in iOS Settings. Email info@broddedevelopment.dk for access or deletion requests. EU/UK users have additional rights under applicable law.
9. Children
Not for children under 13. Ages 13–17 require parental permission.
10. Security
HTTPS, signed API requests, and device-level protection. Apple handles payments.
11. Changes
We update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will change.
